Itafushi Summer Bomb is an 18+ fanweek dedicated to top Yuuji Itadori x bottom Megumi Fushiguro from the anime/manga series Jujutsu Kaisen.In this fandom event, participants will create works for fixed Itafushi by using our assigned prompts and then post them during the week of August 24th-30th.Thank you for checking us out. We can't wait to spend the summer with you!
How to participate
1. Decide on prompts
Pick one or multiple prompts you'd like to use for your fanworks. These creations can range from fics, art, edits, and even cosplay! See our full list of prompts here.
2. Create
Begin creating! Have fun cooking up your fixed Itafushi creations over the summer! You have until August 24th to work on your submissions.
3. Post
Once Itafushi Summer Bomb begins, submit your fanwork by using the tag #ITFSbomb2026 in your post and tag @itfsweek in the replies.Running behind? No worries! We'll be accepting late submissions until Oct 31.

How to participate
If this is your first time participating in a fanweek, welcome! It’s a pleasure to have you here. In this section, we will help you understand how to participate in #ITFSbomb2026 step by step.
1. Decide on prompts
From August 24th to 30th, prompts are assigned to each day of the week. Participants will use these prompts to inspire their Itafushi works for each day. Your job here is to decide which ones you'd like to use! See our list of prompts here.We encourage you to get creative with the prompts. Think outside of the box and have your imagination lead you to anything you want, as long as you’re having fun!Participation in all days isn’t required. Feel free to choose how many days/prompts you wish to participate in.

2. Create
Starting from May 9th to August 23rd is the creation period. Within this period, participants are given the time to create their works before the event begins. Completing your submissions within this timeframe is not required, but it’s highly recommended in order to have all of your posts ready to submit when the week arrives.Every month we ask to see a WIP of your creations on Twitter/Bluesky. If you want to show your progress look out for those posts! We love to see your sneak peeks!
3. Post
Once the event begins, participants will be able to submit their entries by posting them on Twitter/Bluesky. We ask that you post each submission to the corresponding day it’s assigned to.For example: Entries made for prompts on Day 3 should be posted on that specific day (August 26).Unable to get all of your creations completed before the week arrives? No worries! Even after #ITFSbomb2026 is over, we'll still be accepting late submissions up until October 31st. If you’re submitting a late entry, we highly recommend tagging us @itfsweek in the replies so we get notified or DM us in case we miss it.

How to submit your work on Twitter/Bluesky:
Use the tag #ITFSbomb2026 in the caption of your post.
Make sure to put any content warnings if necessary. Explicit R-18 works will need to be flagged with the sensitive content filter provided by Twitter/Bluesky or it will not be reposted by the account.
Tag @itfsweek in the replies if you want us to be notified of your submission. This is highly recommended for search banned accounts as they do not appear in the search. If we don’t see your submission make sure to DM us.

How to add your fic to the AO3 Collection:
Tag your work with #ITFSbomb2026 and include all necessary tags for your fic.
Select the "Edit" button from the work's page, and scroll down to the "Associations" section.
Enter the collection name in the "Post to Collections / Challenges" field. You can start entering the collection's name, “Itafushi Summer Bomb 2026”, and it should show up in the search list.
Select "Post" to apply your changes.
Your submission will be reviewed before being added to the collection.

Guidelines
This is a fixed Itafushi event, meaning Top Yuuji x Bottom Megumi only. Any works that feature/imply the reverse dynamic or switching are strictly prohibited and will not be reposted by the account.
Participants MUST be 18+ as this is an event that allows both SFW and NSFW content.
Explicit R-18 works will need to be flagged with the sensitive content filter provided by Twitter/Bluesky or it will not be reposted by the account.
Please tag your work properly. Submissions that include Dead Dove elements and sensitive content MUST be tagged appropriately with its corresponding content / trigger warnings.
Posts that include tags for the reverse dynamic will not be reposted. We ask that you please refrain from crosstagging as this is a fixed Itafushi event. View which tags we will and not accept for this event here.

Q: What is a Fan week?
Fanweeks are fan-hosted events that are dedicated to a certain ship, character, or any fandom concept. Organizers provide a list of prompts for each day of the week and participants create works based on those prompts. These events are made to encourage more fanwork for the topic it’s dedicated to. In our case, this event is for fixed Itafushi (Top Yuuji x Bottom Megumi)!
Q: How do I participate?
Choose the prompts you’d like to use from our list and start creating! Once the event arrives, submit your works by posting them on Twitter/Bluesky by using the tag #ITFSbomb2026 and tag us @itfsweek in the replies.Check our How to Participate section for more details

No sign up’s needed! Anyone is welcome to participate. Whether you’re a casual shipper, small account, or non-English speaker. If you're interested in creating works for fixed Itafushi that’s all we ask for!
Q: Will there be an AO3 Collection? How do I add to it?

Q: Are we able to participate in languages other than English?
Yes, absolutely! Submissions are not required to be in English. So feel free to submit your works in any language.
Q: Is Dead Dove content allowed? Is this a profic event?
Yes, Dead Dove is allowed. We don't have any content restrictions for this event as it is pro-fiction and anti-censorship. However, they MUST be tagged appropriately with its corresponding content / trigger warnings.Any submissions that fail to do so will not have their work reposted by the account. Please be mindful of those who do not wish to see certain content.Dead Dove stands for “Dead Dove: Do Not Eat” meaning “Be warned, this contains exactly what it says it does.” Mainly used as a warning to indicate that a fanwork contains tropes or elements that may be disturbing to others.
Q: Is switching/fushiita allowed in submissions?
No, this is a strictly fixed Itafushi event, meaning the central pairing of all works must be top Yuuji and bottom Megumi. Any works featuring/implying the reverse pairing or switching will not be reposted by the account.See our Top/Bottom FAQ for more information.
Q: I’m a switch shipper, am I still able to participate?
Absolutely! Regardless of personal preference, you’re fully welcome to participate. Submissions are required to be fixed but the participants are not required to be fixed shippers.
Q: Is it required to participate in all days?
Not at all. It’s completely up to you whether you want to do 1 or the full 7 days. Whatever you feel comfortable with is perfectly fine! The same can be applied for the prompts.
Q: What if I don’t like the prompts or I have a previous work I’d like to submit that doesn’t fit any of the prompts?
That’s perfectly okay! We have a Free Day on Day 5 which allows you to submit anything you’d like, as long as it is fixed Itafushi content and adheres to the guidelines.
Q: Is there a discord server?
There is no official Discord server at the moment unfortunately!

This section is meant to provide context for those who might be new to shipping terms/culture.
Q: What does a fixed ship mean?
A fixed ship means the Top/Bottom dynamic strictly remains the same and the pairing is not versatile (switch).For example, this event is dedicated to Top Yuuji and Bottom Megumi. The opposite dynamic, Top Megumi and Bottom Yuuji, is not allowed. 🔄❌Please take note that dominant/submissive does not equal top/bottom. For example, Yuuji can be a submissive top while megumi can be a dominant bottom. Play around with the dynamics as much as you'd like, get creative with it! As long as Yuuji always remains the insertive role and Megumi the receiving role in your #ITFSbomb2026 submissions.
Q: How is the fixed dynamic defined for SFW submissions? If I’m doing SFW how do I be fixed Itafushi compliant?
There’s not really a definitive way to identify who tops/bottoms when it comes to SFW fanwork. (Unless it's stated by the creator of course.) That’s why in this event, the fixed dynamic can be implied by default for SFW submissions, so no need to worry about “showing” it. If you do not wish for your work to be depicted in this way, we recommend not participating in this event.We believe that characterizations, physical traits, and masculinity/femininity does not define who tops and who bottoms. We encourage participants to mix and match and have fun with this ship. As long as they recognize and respect that this is an event strictly dedicated to Top Yuuji x Bottom Megumi.
Q: Why is tagging important?
People have their own preferences, not everyone wants to see a certain dynamic. That’s why it’s up to the individual to curate their own fandom experience and filter out anything they may not like by using online tools such as the mute and block button. Properly tagging your works helps keep that peace.Reminder: don’t like, don’t engage. No matter what dynamic you prefer it’s up to you to filter out ships you don’t like. Harassing creators over Top/Bottom dynamics is never a good idea.
